executive dysfunction feels like being trapped in your own body with a to do list shouting at you

feeling safe around someones energy is a different kind of intimacy

the shift from keeping people comfortable to keeping yourself intact is such boundary sobriety. a lot of us were taught that peace means self erasure so disappointing someone can feel like such a big form danger. cuz at the end of the day its just our nervous system relearning whose comfort counts.

Big fan of “Better late than never” and “Better a little than none” when it comes to things that I know are good for me. It is doing the things that matter, in whatever capacity you can

no matter what happens today, you:
• are loved
• deserve to eat
• are needed & valued
• should take care of yourself
• have a future
• will be okay

sometimes you just have to do it unprepared, because you’ll never feel fully prepared

t is more than fine to hope for, desire, and wish for, a better and more ideal future. even if you have no clue as to how such a future would be an operate, it is worth hoping for anyways and especially worth it to take any steps you can towards said future.
