The bad choices in life. š
The ones that broke your heart.
The ones you ignored your intuition to make.
The ones you stayed in too long.
The ones you wish you could go back and undo.
But what if they werenāt wasted?
Some choices teach you what love is not. Some reveal the boundaries you should have had. Some introduce you to the version of yourself you never want to abandon again.
Healing isnāt about pretending you never made the wrong choice. Itās about gaining enough wisdom from it that you donāt keep choosing the same pain in a different person, place, or situation.
Forgive the woman who didnāt know then what she knows now.
She was learning.
And now? She gets to choose differently. š
With Love, I Let Go.
A Journey Back to Self.
Save this for the days youāre tempted to judge the woman you used to beā¦and share it with a woman who needs permission to forgive herself.

DC AREA, SAVE THE DATE! šāØ
Iām excited to officially announce that Iāll be a Featured Author at Black Book Fest 2027!
š
October 2ā3, 2027
š Crystal City, Virginia
Iāll be there with With Love, I Let Go: A Journey Back to Self, meeting readers, signing books, and continuing a mission that is so much bigger than the pages of a book.
What began as my own journey through heartbreak, healing, and finding my way back to myself has become an opportunity to remind other women that letting go isnāt the endā¦it can be the beginning of finding yourself again.
My mission is to reach and help 100,000 Black women heal, and Iām grateful for every reader, conversation, and room that allows this message to travel a little further.
If youāre in DC, Virginia, Maryland, or the surrounding area, mark your calendar now. Come meet me, grab a signed copy, and spend the weekend celebrating Black authors, Black stories, and Black literature.

Sometimes the problem isnāt what youāre doing to her.
Itās what youāre consistently not doing for the relationship.
Not communicating.
Not reassuring.
Not showing affection.
Not creating emotional safety.
Not making an effort.
Not being intentional.
Not showing up when it matters.
The absence of mistreatment is not the presence of love.
And a woman shouldnāt have to be devastated before her needs are considered valid.

š Please help bring one of our own home.
As a fellow flight attendant based here in Philadelphia, this story hits especially close to home.
Aiesha Griffin, a Delta Air Lines flight attendant, was last seen on Broad Street in Philadelphia on July 24, 2026. According to the information shared by her family, there has reportedly been no activity on her phone, bank cards, or social media since that night.
Our aviation community is a family. We may wear different uniforms, but we all understand what it means to spend our lives caring for others while traveling far from home. Today, Iām asking my Philadelphia community and my aviation family to come together for Aiesha.
Please share her photo. Someone may have seen something that could help bring answers to her loved ones.
If you have verified information, please contact the Philadelphia Police Department Tips Line: (215) 686-8477.
Letās surround her family with hope, prayers, and the power of a community that refuses to stop looking.
From college classmates to published authors⦠what a journey. š
Thereās something incredibly special about watching the people you started with continue to walk in purpose.
It was such a joy reconnecting with my college classmate Melanie Lynn at Black Writers Weekendā¢ļø Years ago, we were simply students chasing our dreams. Today, weāre both authors using our stories to inspire, heal, and change lives.
What makes this moment even more meaningful is that weāre also contributors in an anthology published by another one of our college classmates. To witness each of us using our gifts in different ways is a reminder that your journey may take unexpected turns, but purpose has a way of bringing it all together.
Never underestimate the seeds you plant or the relationships you build along the way. One day, they may become part of your greatest chapters.
Hereās to friendship, legacy, and the power of telling our stories authentically.
Congratulations, Melanie! Iām so proud of the woman youāve become and the lives youāre impacting. rebuiltlegacygroup

This weekend, I had the incredible honor of serving as a speaker at Black Writers Weekendā¢ļø , sharing the stage with talented authors, creatives, and literary leaders who are using their voices to make a difference.
As I looked out into the audience, I was reminded that With Love, I Let Go was never just about publishing a book. It was about creating conversations that help people heal, reclaim themselves, and believe that their story matters.
From writing through my own heartbreak to speaking on stages, seeing my book placed in bookstores and libraries across the country, and connecting with readers whose lives have been touched by these pages, Iām reminded that there is power in telling your truth and having the courage to be authentically yourself through your story. The story youāre afraid to share may be the very story someone else needs to hear.
Thank you to the entire Black Writers Weekend team Tamika Newhouse for the invitation and for creating a space where Black stories are celebrated, honored, and elevated. It was a privilege to contribute to the conversation and connect with so many gifted writers.
This is only the beginning.
