PDMMI

Penn Dental Multidisciplinary Medicine Initiative (PDMMI) is established for the purpose of increasing awareness and fostering the interests of students at Penn Dental Medicine in learning about dentistry as a part of the multidisciplinary medical team. PDMMI aims to collaborate with non-profit multidisciplinary medical service organizations (that serve the underserved populations) in order to create a forum for PDM to experience the service learning aspect of multi-professional collaborations. PDMMI hopes to engage students in helping these organizations and to build a network between Penn Dental and the greater Penn community through opportunities such as lunch-and-learns, selective courses and fundraising events.
