The Shakedown

All aboard the USSNJ this Saturday for a thing called TOGETHER on the Battleship!!!

Last year with DEPARTED x PEX- The Philadelphia Experiment was such an amazing journey you know we had to run it back even bigger!

This year we welcome no other than the founding father of house music Lil Louis to headline the Shakedown stage. Support by SD selectors Rob Paine Will Putney Ty Salone + goodie homegirl Bridget Marie

Tickets are sailing ⛵️ so be sure to secure yours before it’s too late!

Lil Louis is a true pioneer of electronic music. There’s a reason they call him the Founding Father of House Music.

Rave culture as we know it would not exist without his influence. It’s said that the first rave was organized by Lil Louis in Chicago in 1977, when he was only 15 or 16 years old. By 16, he was already a club owner.

Then came “French Kiss.” 😘 Released in 1989, the track became a defining moment in dance music, selling millions of copies and topping the U.S. Dance charts. Its influence can still be heard in countless records that followed.

Hear what these artists —Jamie Jones, Derrick Carter, Kevin Saunderson, Carl Cox, Nina Kraviz & Ben UFO—have to say about “French Kiss” and the lasting influence Lil Louis has had on electronic music.

We can not be more honored and excited to have Lil Louis headline the Shakedown stage Saturday 9/12 for Together on the Battleship!
