NEW!!! We are over-the-moon to welcome to the shop! Reshma has created the dreamiest (and very Wild Hand;) hand-dyed colorways and we are beyond delighted to introduce Rambouillet Fiber Braids and Merino/Cashmere sock yarn to the shop.

Reshma is the dyer and owner behind Hello Lavender; a Chicago-based yarny business. Reshma is a knitter, crocheter, polymer clay artist, and indie fiber / yarn dyer.

The fair is TODAY!! Join us on the streets in front of Wild Hand and in the shop from 11AM-4PM for a magical community day filled with food trucks, live performances, pie eating contest, pet parade, activities for kids & adults at every step along the way as well as live animals (there will be 🐑🐑🐑!!!) and so much more. Liz from team Wild Hand has helped lead the organizing of this sweet event for a few years now and couldn't imagine a better way to volunteer time to this Mt. Airy community.

Wild Hand will have FREE spool knitting supplies & lessons in front of the shop all day as well as baskets full of FREE supplies from our Little Free Fiber Library basement stash (there's some good stuff in there ... and it's all FREE thanks to the generous donations from our community.

restock at the shop ~ gosh this wool is SO GOOD. We have a restock of favorites and new-to-us colorways of SUR at the shop just in time for Keira's visit tomorrow. Keira is based nearby in Jersey City and hand dyes her fiber, and cards the batts. Her sense of color is incredible and we pretty much can't get enough. ⁠Grab braids of the NEW Sur Romney & Suri Alpaca as well as our go-to BFL/Mohair blend, Honeybun, which really is a fluffy delight.⁠

We are so very excited to be a new-ish dealer and offer more weaving tools and equipment to this community. for have many new yarns and tools rolling into the shop these days, especially when it comes to weaving supplies.
