Friends of Rittenhouse Square

Given tomorrow's weather forecast, our annual Dog Days event will take place NEXT WEEKEND, 10/3!!

With free hot dogs and hoagies from Dietz & Watson, activities for furry friends and their owners, and dogs for adoption from street tails animal rescue, there's something for everyone to enjoy!

Unfortunately due to rain and temperature conditions, the Ballet performance scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed for a future date. Stay tuned!

The Ballet in the Square is returning once again! This now-iconic event features two free public performances by the Philadelphia Ballet X right here in Rittenhouse Square. Be sure to stop by either the 4pm or 6pm show for a one-of-a-kind experience in the center of the park. Guests are encouraged to bring a folding chair or stool to enjoy the performances! We hope to see you there.

A sea of green right in the heart of the city

There's nothing quite like the tree-lined paths of Rittenhouse Square

Earlier this summer Friends of Rittenhouse Square proudly honored Barbara Eberlein for her incredible career of restoration in and around Philadelphia. Her dedication to the preservation of public and historic spaces is invaluable for Rittenhouse Square to continue to function as the iconic urban green space it is.

Today is a perfect day to take a stroll through Rittenhouse Square - 🌳

Take a look at our new pavers! The Gardener's Cottage got some love this past weekend with the addition of some beautiful new paving stones.

So many views, which is your favorite place to sit in the Square?

There's nothing like summer in the city. Enjoy the beautiful blooms of Rittenhouse Square!
