•Help lock in moisture- medicube Global Ultra Light PDRN pink peptide serum *wait 3 minutes after pressing into skin to let it absorb before next step*
• More hydration and radiant skin- d'Alba official First Spray Serum

• If I am going outside that day, a SPF after moisturizer. I stayed inside all day and used a tinted moisturizer after I primed. Also try to work in light layers while also giving everything time to absorb because you don’t want your makeup slipping and sliding.

•Primer- LimeLife First Base oil-free primer before makeup application (can also be found in my LimeLife link)

1. Skin Prep Depends on your skin type, whether you’re dry, oily or combination. Your skin prep should reflect what your skin needs throughout the day. Make sure to cleanse your skin. Tone- Serums-moisturizer- SPF then if you prime, prime. In that order. Another rule of thumb is to go thinnest to thickest.

2. Warm up cream products. I know some people struggle when using cream products and it’s because they don’t know how to properly prep it before applying. In this particular reel, I warm up my color corrector on the back of my hand. This lets it spread out evenly and easier. Then for my cream foundation, I warmed it up with my brush, and then I applied a little bit on my skin, warmed it up a little more on my face to spread out as much as I could picking up a little more and repeating the process.

3. Cool contour shade. Depending on skin tone and undertones is the deciding factor on how much cooler your contour should be (cool meaning more blue - green). Bronzer adds warmth, whereas the cooler tones add depth for contour. Think shadows. If you look at Art, things in the background are typically cooler toned and things brought forward are warmer and brighter.

4. Diffuse cream products before applying is about the same concept as warming up creams. Pick up the product then tap and play with the excess on the back of your hand to evenly distribute onto bristles. This ensures you get an even application and you don’t have to try too hard to blend out and risk muddying up the layers underneath since you’re just tapping / placing product on top. You get more control this way.

5. Lipstick as blush. If you’re already using or working with creams, using a lipstick CAN layer well with existing products while also helping your blush last longer (depending on lipstick). Set with a similar toned powder blush to keep from clashing colors.
