I went to Scottsdale Fashion Square to see if retail could change my mind about secondhand designer shopping... it didn't! 😅

Between the eye-watering prices and the fact that so many "luxury" pieces aren't even made of the materials you'd expect, it's exactly why I stick to thrifting and buying preloved designer instead. Same look, same quality, a fraction of the cost and, better character too.

Scottsdale Fashion Square has really leveled up lately with new luxury stores opening (hello Hermès, Loro Piana, and Chanel, with Celine coming soon 👀), but even with all that shine, retail still can't compete with a good secondhand find ‼️
