Madison Camelview Elementary, home of the Cubs, is an top-rated school of approximately 600 students, serving grades preschool through 4th grade.
In 2018 Madison Camelview was named an A+ School of Excellence by the Arizona Educational Foundation.
It is the end of Attendance Awareness Month at Camelview. We want all of our CUBS to be here on time every day.
Excused Absences (Requires notification & documentation)

Madison Camelview's STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) program offers an educational experience that extends beyond the traditional classroom and teaches students to engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate. STEAM learning comes to life for students through the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) framework. Through engaging activities and projects, students in kindergarten through fourth grade explore computer science, technology, engineering, and more, ensuring that all students have the opportunities and skills to innovate, create, and lead. ✨🧪🧬

🔬✨ Science is coming to life at Camelview! Our 3rd/4th grade team is diving into our new science adoption and putting the NGSX standards and practices into action through hands-on, student-centered learning. From asking questions and investigating ideas to designing solutions and making sense of evidence, our students are thinking like scientists and engineers every day!
At Camelview, we’re committed to deepening science and engineering practices, sparking curiosity, and empowering students to make sense of the world around them. 🚀🌎🧪

✨ Little Pieces, BIG Thinking! ✨
Our Madison Camelview Elementary kindergarten students are embracing their curiosity and creativity through loose parts learning! 🧠💡
Using open-ended materials like blocks, stones, shells, sticks, bottle caps, cardboard tubes, fabric, craft sticks, and recycled materials, students have the freedom to explore, create, problem-solve, and communicate their thinking, without there being just one “right” way. ❤️
Through this hands-on learning, our students are becoming curious, inquisitive learners who are learning to turn their ideas into something they can see, share, and explain. 🌟
We love seeing where their imagination takes them! 🎨🧩✨

Community support in action! 🤝✨
Madison Camelview Elementary School recently received a generous $5,000 donation from Burlington Stores in celebration of their new local store opening. In partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, these funds will be distributed to our dedicated teachers to purchase additional supplies and learning resources for their classrooms.
Thank you to Burlington for supporting public education and helping our teachers to foster bright futures for every student!

🍋 💛Principal Lindsay Murray and assistant principal Ciara Karsten at Madison Camelview Elementary School, celebrated National Lemonade Day this afternoon by handing out refreshing lemonade and tea to our amazing teachers and staff! 🍋✨These moments are a great reminder of our Madison strategic goal to nurture a culture that values positive relationships among our students, staff, families, and educational, business, and community partners.
