One Year After Republicans Pass Tax Law, New Honest Arizona Report Shows How Arizonans Are Hurting From Cuts to SNAP — Honest Arizona TUCSON — Honest Arizona has a new report showing how Arizonans are already feeling Republican cuts to SNAP. The Republican Tax Law, which was signed into law nearly a year ago, included cuts to SNAP that will impact 40 million Americans who rely on the program to afford food. According to Hones

Rep. Ciscomani voted for the Republican Tax Law last year, which cut SNAP by almost $100 billion.

The aftermath of his vote is that over 450,000 Arizonans are without SNAP benefits in 2026. While the federal government fails to feed Arizonans, the state is left to pick up the slack. State Representative Nancy Gutierrez and the Arizona House/Senate Democrats are working at the state level to provide relief to Arizonans, but our federal elected officials need to stop playing around and start working on behalf of their constituents.
