This was easily one of the most nerve-wracking things I’ve done this year—approaching complete strangers on the beach and asking to take their portraits. It takes confidence, a thick skin, and a willingness to hear “no” more times than you’d expect.

You’d be surprised how many people turn down the offer of free professional photos from a stranger (I know, shocking, right?). But hey, rejection isn’t the worst thing that could happen—trust me!

Would you accept free photos if someone approached you?!

It's easy to become disengaged and simply sit in the truck or wander aimlessly when one is not the one doing the physical labor. However, I have chosen to utilize this time as an opportunity to experiment with one of my lesser-used lenses. It's a good moment for practice!

I may not be the world's greatest photographer, but I've been gifted with a talent by the grace of God that I'm continually nurturing.

The skill of a welder is nothing short of artistry. A welder doesn’t just join metal; they forge strength and precision into every bead of molten steel. With sparks flying like fireworks and heat intense enough to tame iron, welders turn raw materials into bridges, skyscrapers, and machines that move the world.

Cold days mean tough, long hours, but the crews out here are delivering results with determination and a smile on their faces. Once again, I have to say it—blue-collar men and women don’t get nearly enough credit for the hard work they do.
