The I.D. R.A.D. (Reusable Aerial Drone) Target System is unlike anything that has ever existed in live-fire training. Infinite Defense built a self-healing rubber drone target that you can shoot hundreds of times and it just keeps flying. Place your shot correctly and the drone moves or spins. Or if you hit it just right a clay pigeon shatters on impact giving you another visual confirmation — and if you are running thermals, the target lights up with a heat signature at every strike point for up to five minutes after the shot. Those are three separate ways to confirm a kill on a single target. It suspends from a towing drone presenting a true three-dimensional aerial silhouette at altitude, turning a flat range into a legitimate counter-drone training environment. It works in daylight, low light, and full dark. The Hydra runs four clay pigeon cradles for multi-strike training and the Phoenix features a single cradle with a detailed rotor profile. When you are done shooting, you spray it and fly it again. Nothing like it exists on the market.

It survived 105 rounds of number eight birdshot, 70 rounds of 00 buckshot, and 260 rounds of 55 grain 5.56 without structural failure. The target is built from recycled, re-vulcanized SBR rubber that seals itself around each ballistic perforation. This means no degradation, no replacement, and no single use (and extremely expensive) limitations like shooting real drones or balloons tied to drones. The material also retains heat at each strike point, keeping hits visible on thermal optics for up to five minutes. Hit confirmation is layered. The rubber marks on impact, the clay pigeons shatter on a direct hit, and the thermal signature confirms the rest. No electronics. No batteries. Just results.
