WHY THIS MATTERS — ESPECIALLY FOR US
Breast cancer doesn’t impact all of us equally.

The truth about women of color:

Black women are 40% more likely to die from breast cancer than white women, despite having lower incidence rates

Black women have a breast cancer mortality rate that’s 37% higher than white women

Among women under 50, the mortality rate for Black women is nearly double that of white women

Black women are more likely to be diagnosed at a later stage and with more aggressive tumors

But here’s the game-changer: Regular mammography screening can eliminate the disparity in late-stage diagnoses between Black and white women. Early detection is our power!!

This is why the Bridge Builder Alliance Group exists. We are a haven of health, wellness, women empowerment, and support — not just a networking group. This event is our line in the sand‼️‼️‼️

THE IMPORTANCE OF PIVOTING — THIS YEAR LOOKS DIFFERENT

I want to speak to everyone out there with a dream, with a vision in your heart: keep pursuing it.

The first 5 years of any business will bring transformation, change, ups and downs, tests and tribulations. But if you stay anchored to your mission, every vision you see for it will manifest.

The Loft Collective is my third brick-and-mortar space built specifically for the growth and development of women beyond 40. But it’s more than just a venue. It carries the lessons, faith, and fire from the two “bridge-builder” buildings I developed before it.

The vision was always the same: a sacred space of community, growth, love, light, and God. There were challenges, setbacks, and seasons of doubt before we got here — but every step led to this.

I am so proud of this space, and proud of what it will do for our community. For every woman looking to grow beyond adversity, beyond hurt and into purpose.

The Loft Collective is open daily for drop-in and includes: WiFi, snacks, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and water.
It’s also available for your events, workshops, and wellness gatherings.
