Our founder Liana Habicht sat down with CBS to talk about exactly that. Not from a textbook. From her own founder's journey and from the leaders she works with every day.
Here are three strategies she shared:
🎭 1. Grow a new identity.
Monetizing a passion means becoming a different version of yourself. An entrepreneur who can tolerate uncertainty, customer pressure, and wearing multiple hats. Most people skip that internal shift entirely. That's where frustration lives. No superficial changes will do the trick if your self-concept hasn't evolved.
🔀 2. You don't have to choose one lane.
The most successful people have mastered identity fluidity, the ability to move between versions of themselves without losing any of them. Da Vinci didn't pick a lane. You don't have to either.
🎨 3. Find another hobby. One with no ROI attached.
When your passion becomes a work project, it comes with deadlines, pressure, and expectations. Your nervous system needs something that feels like pure joy, with no result required. Protect a space that is only yours.

Every company has an origin story.
Ours starts not with a pitch deck or a market gap, but with a founder hitting her breaking point.
Liana grew up in the Soviet Union where achievement was the only currency that mattered. That drive took her across 10 countries, through INSEAD, and into Silicon Valley, where she built a business across three continents.
On paper, she had made it.
Inside, she was running on empty.
Burnout. Betrayal. A breaking point. And finally, for the first time, asking for help.
What she discovered in that process became the foundation of everything we are building.
Identity is source code. Behaviors are downstream of it. And if your identity doesn't shift, no strategy, no habit, no new framework will hold.
That insight became the Recalibrate method. And the question that followed, what if leaders had access to this kind of support in real time, became Recalibrate AI.
This platform is not about doing more. It is about becoming the person your leadership actually requires.
