🚨 WE ARE HIRING IN ARIZONA 🚨
We are excited to announce that we are hiring Event Crew members to join the Aravaipa team in Arizona!
From prepping gear at the warehouse and marking trails to race-day setup, timing, and post-event breakdown, this team brings our races to life from start to finish.
We’re looking for hardworking, dependable team players who love the outdoors, thrive in hands-on environments, and aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
Please note that this is a physical, hands-on role requiring heavy lifting (50+ lbs), indoor/outdoor labor, and event setup and breakdown in varying weather conditions. Hours are primarily Friday through Sunday with potential weekday opportunities, and candidates must be local to Arizona with the ability to travel between our warehouse and event sites.
If you’re ready to help bring our events to life, find more details and apply through the link in our bio!
Jim Engel has finished EVERY single edition of the Grand Island Trail Marathon here on Grand Island in Michigan!
“What’s my time?” Is what he said here at the finish line on the shore of Lake Superior. With a finish time of 5:54:28 at age 71 and looking this good, we bet he has quite a few more in him!

BAD BEARD EVENTS ™️ is officially joining Aravaipa Running!
This series has been the heart of Chattanooga trail running since Stump Jump and River Gorge were founded in 2001. Ginny Smith, who has directed these races for almost a decade, is staying on as Series Director to keep leading the way alongside the same local crew and volunteers.
The races, the trails, and the traditions aren’t changing. Our goal is to keep the unique character of these seven events while elevating the runner experience, all while continuing Bad Beard’s commitment to the local non-profits that protect Chattanooga’s backyard.
Swipe through to check out the upcoming calendar. Find a distance that sounds fun, and come run with us.

We are beyond excited to welcome as a sponsor of the 2026 Flagstaff Sky Peaks and the title sponsor of the Unknown Runner Hill Climb, the vertical event that kicks off our three-day festival at Arizona Snowbowl. 🏔️
Unknown Runner was born right here in Flagstaff and was founded by Katie and Alex Mette, two runners who fell in love on trail and built a brand rooted in the same community they call home. Their focus on high-performance merino wool apparel and their commitment to grassroots trail culture makes them a natural fit for everything Flagstaff Sky Peaks represents.
The Unknown Runner Hill Climb is going to be a special way to open the festival and serves as a fitting tribute to a brand that believes the destination and outcome are always unknown, and the only certainty is the path ahead.
We can’t wait to share more details on the full festival experience soon. 🌲
Topical cooling is the name of the game. 🧊💦
This is how you do it: Staying wet is the best way to beat the heat even when the sun goes down. The essential strategy for Stunner Night Runs.
It’s a warm one out here tonight at Stunner Night Runs… and that’s just how we like it! Runners are off and cruising through the smooth trails of Usery Regional Park!
