Our presenters, Sey In, Interim Managing Attorney for The Healthcare Team, Disability Rights Arizona and Jessica Lopez, Outreach and Marketing Coordinator, Disability Rights Arizona will discuss your rights this election season and practical tips and trips for casting a private and independent vote.

Our goal is to ensure that Arizonans with disabilities have full access to the electoral process and know the resources available so that they can be better prepared.

📢 Upcoming Candidate Forum on Disability Issues

The Native American Disability Law Center will host the Ft. Defiance Agency Candidate Forum on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. MDT at the Navajo Nation Department of Diné Education Auditorium in Window Rock, AZ.

Candidates will have an opportunity to share their platforms and discuss issues affecting people with disabilities, including accessibility, voting access, housing, and employment.

📻 The forum will also be broadcast live on KTNN Radio, giving listeners across the Navajo Nation an opportunity to hear from participating candidates and learn about their platforms.

ALTCS: Tips and Strategies to Applying for Arizona Long-Term Care Services

Description: This training will cover eligibility for the Arizona Long-Term Care System (ALTCS), which covers long-term care services for individuals who are elderly or physically disabled (EPD) or have a developmental disability (DD) diagnosis, and who meet program eligibility requirements. This session will cover (1) eligibility requirements, (2) the pre-admission screening (PAS) process, and (3) how applicants can prepare for the process.
