Words can’t express the emotion. Songs don’t do it justice. 14 years ago we lost Bethany. Now we are about to bury her second born son. The main reason I wanted to share this with the world isn’t just to remember them, it isn’t for pity, or sympathy, it’s for change. I hope some young kid reads this and gets inspired to get out the streets, stay away from that culture that is killing our youth. Bethany was 32. Her son Jaguar was 19. My godson. Both had their life taken due to gun violence. I also can’t express my disdain and hatred for this subculture of ignorance, small guns with oversized magazines, no aim, no respect, no fades, no rules, hyper violence. We live in a world where we can’t even keep our youth safe. My heart goes out to the family, my only solace is knowing Jag is reunited with his mom in the next life. PROTECT YOUR KIDS. LOVE THEM WHILE THEY’RE HERE. Stay away from them house parties. Stay out the way. That’s all I got. RIP Bethany. RIP JAG. 💜

96’ NAS

No album better defines the times, the era, the feeling like “It Was Written”. Nas cultured and motivated a generation with the storytelling, poetic sharpness, and a cinematic element that’s often missing from modern hip hop records. 96 Nas was different. Fina boss energy. The Michael Corleone of rap. The highest echelon of lyrical ability and songwriting.

Paying homage is a fundamental part of this art form. We were all inspired by someone. No idea is original. Even as an artist who gets to take part in this sport, I will always be a fan of what made me want to do it in the first place. I learned from a goat how to be a goat. Cheers to one of the greatest to ever do it.

As soon as I heard the beat Robert Denir0 cooked up, I knew it was going to be special. 𝕊𝕎𝔸𝔹 added the cuts and turned it into modern nostalgia.

“A thug changes and love changes.
And best friends become strangers”

I’ve always tried to give flowers while I can, while we still have the time. We all know how powerful Spike Lee is. Those movies changed my perspective, and in turn, my life, from Do The Right Thing, to Miracle at St. Anna, these films define eras and generations.

My bro Carl Sherron complimented this song perfectly. It’s difficult to know what the instrumental will inspire, but this just felt like a scene in a Spike Lee joint. Robert Denir0 went crazy in post production and added drums and sauced up the sample. The final product is our offering to a legend that influenced and inspired us. Spike Lee

“A Joint For Spike” is now streaming and available for purchase directly on my Bandcamp. The War On US isn’t over. We have some more from the collection we’re about to drop! Stay tuned

This one was special. These are the type of moments you dream about as a kid. This Hip Hop s**t saved my life. Now I’m just returning the favor.

Thanks to Coach Da God ( El Enchufe ) for always putting me in position to win and everything he does behind the scenes. Shout to DJ Eclipse and Riz at Rap Is Outta Control for having us on and what they do for the culture. Salute to all the artists who burned it down Milano Constantine El Gant UPPERCASE 🏁

Shout out my city for making me go harder! This AZ s**t is in my heart no matter where I’m at! 🏜️

OUT NOW‼️

Go stream it, go buy it, throw some Old Bay on it 🤌🏽

This Arizona s**t is close to my heart. We all love it. We all wanna “put it on” weather you from Tuscon or Phoenix, Yuma or Flagg, it don’t matter if this AZ s**t is in your heart, can’t nobody say s**t💯 I’m a transplant, I came here from Maryland in 99 when I was 14 years old. Phoenix made me who I am, and I’m proud to be from The Valley. Our city is so diverse and talented, and there’s enough for us all to eat. I’ve worked with more Arizona artists than anyone. I will continue support what we’ve built, divided or not. I think it’s time for us all as artists and platforms and creatives to get past this “CRABS IN A BARREL” s**t and start using our motion to uplift, create, and promote and grow. Regardless, AZ got something special going on with the hip hop and r&b we’re creating. Never give up on your dreams, go get it, and GO BUMP CRABS IN A BARREL 🦀🛢️🏜️🌵

Shout out my guy Spon Marcos on the beat ARNAM and PHXERA on the camera Within Range for the love and phx_hiphop for always being about the music ₆ⁿeᵃₖʸ on the artwork Mr. Wyoming with the wise words and my Rarefied Air boys for holding it down.
