And not having identification can make that process even harder.

In fact, 63% of our clients say they need an ID specifically to find housing — a reminder of just how closely identification is tied to stability and shelter.

An ID may be needed to complete an application, verify identity, sign a lease, access services, or take other steps toward stable housing.
