Join us in helping Sue beat cancer! About Sue and her battle with cancer:

Originally from Thailand, Sue first came to the United States almost 30 years ago.

She is incredibly hardworking, and is a single mother of three. Sue was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1999. After a lumpectomy and radiation, she was cancer free. Although there was a very slim chance that the cancer would return, it did, seven years later, in 2006. She stayed positive and courageously underwent a mastectomy. Once again, she was cured of cancer! Unfortunately, her cancer returned again in 2010. It spread into her chest wall and was no longer operable. In addition to the metastatic breast cancer, a lung tumor was found as well. Sue has always led a very healthy lifestyle and has never smoked, so news of the lung cancer was a big shock. However, the lung cancer is not a “smoker’s cancer”. After the diagnosis in 2010, Sue completed one round of chemotherapy followed by radiation treatments. Sue has been receiving continuous treatments since 2010, but despite this, in September 2013 Sue received more bad news from PTScan results. The cancer has now spread to several other areas of her body, including her liver. We are not giving up! Sue has decided to take leave from her job and dedicate all of her energy towards her health, spending time with family, and another chemo treatment. Your contribution to help Sue with pay her medical bills would mean the world to her as well as her family. Anything helps, even $1! Prayers are great too :-)!
