Welcome to today’s “Just Help One” stream! 🙏❤️ We’re coming together to share stories of hope, faith, service, and the power of helping one person at a time.

Today we’ll hear testimonies and stories of how small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference — from reaching children and families in need to simply being there for someone who needs encouragement. As the message reminds us: “The power of walking in your calling is not in the thousands of people, it is in the one.” Join us as we encourage one another, share hope, and keep our hearts focused on Jesus Christ. ✝️ You don’t have to change the whole world today. Just help one.

Join us for a powerful time in God’s Word as we explore compromise, complacency, spiritual drift, and returning to our first love. We’ll discover what happens when we lose intimacy with God—and how to remember, repent, return, and renew our relationship with Him. 🙏🏽🔥 “Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first.” — Revelation 2:5

Have you ever looked back at a season of your life and realized that God was there the entire time—you just didn’t recognize it?

In Genesis 28:16, Jacob wakes from his encounter with God and declares, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I wasn’t even aware of it!”

Sometimes the problem isn’t God’s absence. It’s our attention.

In today’s message, Recognizing God Is Here, we’ll discover how God can be working before we recognize Him, how our circumstances can distract us from His presence, and why He often moves differently than we expect.

✨ God can be present before you recognize Him. He doesn’t stop working because you’re distracted, and He doesn’t disappear because you don’t feel Him.

🙏 Your circumstances can distract you from His presence. Problems, pain, uncertainty, and chaos can become so loud that they drown out what God is doing. Sometimes being still is a choice, not a feeling.

🌿 God often works differently than we expect. We may look for Him only in church services, worship, or prayer, but God can meet us in ordinary places, quiet moments, interruptions, transitions, and inconvenient seasons.

❤️ When you recognize God, respond to Him. Recognition creates responsibility. When God convicts—repent. When He directs—obey. When He provides—give thanks. When He reveals Himself—worship.

Don’t dismiss an ordinary season as meaningless simply because it feels unfamiliar. God may already be working beneath the surface.

God doesn’t always shout. Sometimes, He whispers.

What should we do when God reveals Himself?

In Isaiah 6:1–8, Isaiah encounters the overwhelming holiness and glory of God. What begins as an encounter becomes a moment of conviction, surrender, transformation, and ultimately a call to action:

“Here am I. Send me!” — Isaiah 6:8

God’s presence is not something we simply experience—it calls for a response. In this message, Responding to God’s Presence, we’ll explore three responses that should follow a genuine encounter with God:

✨ Reverence Him — Seeing God correctly changes how we approach Him.
🙏 Surrender to Him — His holiness exposes what needs to change, and conviction invites us to surrender.
🔥 Obey Him — Encounter should lead to assignment. Isaiah said yes before he knew all the details.

We cannot receive everything God has for us while holding onto everything He is asking us to release. And when God calls, obedience is one of the clearest expressions of our love for Him.

May our response to His presence be:

“Here am I. Send me!”

We’re rebroadcasting this powerful message, **“The Presence That Dwells Within.”**

The same God who parted the Red Sea, sent manna from heaven, and led Israel by fire and cloud has chosen to make His dwelling within us.

But with this incredible privilege comes responsibility: **How are we stewarding His presence, and what are we doing with the power He has placed within us?**

What changes when we truly experience the presence of God?

In Exodus 33:14–16, Moses understood that God’s presence was not optional—it was everything. God’s presence was the source of Israel’s rest, transformation, and distinction from everyone around them.

In this message, “The Presence Changes Everything,” Pastor Maurice Chavez teaches how encountering the presence of God changes the way we live, think, and walk through life.

In this message, you’ll discover:

• His presence brings rest — We don’t have to carry life in our own strength.
• His presence transforms us — You cannot continually encounter God and remain the same.
• His presence distinguishes us — What sets God’s people apart is not simply what we do, but the One who goes with us.

God doesn’t just want to change your circumstances. He wants His presence to change you.

Moses said, in essence, “If Your presence doesn’t go with us, we don’t want to go.”

May that become the cry of our hearts.

“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” — Exodus 33:14

RECOGNIZING THE PRESENCE OF GOD

“Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.” — Genesis 28:16

God may be present even when we fail to recognize Him.

God created us for fellowship, but sin brought separation. The good news is that Jesus removed the barrier and opened the way for us to draw near. We do not approach God through personal goodness, religious performance, or perfect behavior. We approach Him through the finished work and shed blood of Jesus Christ.

In this message, Pastor Maurice Chavez teaches us how to recognize God’s presence, approach Him through grace, and draw near with a sincere heart.

God’s presence is not a reward for perfect people. It is where imperfect people are transformed.

You do not have to clean yourself up before coming to God. Come honestly. Come sincerely. Come boldly. The way has already been opened!

Watch this message, share it with someone who needs encouragement, and join us as we continue the God Is Here sermon series at Equip Church.
