Rehearsals for ProMusica Arizona's 2026-27 concerts start Monday, August 31, so get your season tickets now! The ProMusica Arizona Orchestra has a rare opening for Principal Cello. This is a paid position :-) Rehearsals are Tuesdays in north Phoenix near 7th St and Greenway. There are three 2-concert series per season, with 6 rehearsals for each concert. The orchestra provides accompaniment for its companion 70-voice chorale and plays its own featured repertoire, as well, in each concert. Are you a talented and dedicated musician looking for an inspiring and dynamic ensemble? We offer performers a rich and diverse repertoire, from classical masterpieces to popular favorites, concert versions of musicals, and world premieres of works by local composers. Our multi-generational chorale and orchestra feature a stimulating mix of talented volunteer community members and professional musicians joining as needed. Solo opportunities and roles are available. We welcome all voice types, and instrumentalists with intermediate to advanced skills. Vocalists should be proficient in reading music and have choral experience.

ProMusica musicians are headed for Australia! We will be singing there with 3 local choirs. The first performance will be May 10 in Flinders, with the Southern Peninsula Choir. (Please note: our musicians are paying their own way.) You may not hear from us until after our May 21 return, but expect photos then!
