Today, our cadets placed American flags to spell “9/11” — a tribute to the lives lost, the strength of a nation and the unity that defined us in the days that followed.

Each flag serves as a symbol of remembrance, resilience and hope. The greatest way we can honor those who lost their lives is by committing ourselves to learn, grow and serve in their memory.

Words cannot fully express our gratitude for those who served, nor the depth of our respect for the victims and their loved ones who continue to carry the weight of that day.

We remember their lives. We honor their sacrifice. We will never forget.

The Army recently welcomed two new Second Lieutenents. Cadets White and Messi commissioned in late august, making the culmination of their dedication, hard work and and commitment to serving their country.

2LT White is going into the Army Nurse Corps and 2LT Messi is going into the Adjutant General Corps. Both celebrated this great occasion, surrounded by friends and family.

Congratulations to our newest Lieutenents. We are very proud of all you have accomplished and wish you the very best as you begin your journey as Army officers.

Cadet Zac Gomez has just completed Air Assault school

Air Assault school is one of the hardest courses in the Army. It focuses on combat Assault operations involving helicopters. Over an intense 10-day program. CDT Gomez mastered helicopter insertion and extraction, rappelling and physical training. This achievement showcases his commitment to excellence and readiness in challenging environments.

Congratulations to these newly commissioned Second Lieutenants. Their dedication, hardwork and perseverance is starting to pay off. We celebrate their success but also the strong foundations built by their families and loved ones.

Change of command is always a bittersweet moment, as our seniors pass down their leadership roles to the next class. We are proud to announce next year’s Top Four cadet leadership: Cadet Ciobanu as Battalion Commander, Cadet Ryan as Command Sergeant Major, Cadet Leithead as Executive Officer, and Cadet Hartley as S3.

We are excited to see what this leadership team will accomplish, along with the rest of the cadet leadership, as they continue to build and strengthen the program!
