New bs on streaming and all that. Some stuff I’ve had on my hard drive for awhile. Check it if ya bored

Hey friends, Kris here.

I wanted to try and give an update to you fine folks who are still here. Some of you may have already seen, and some of you may be annoyed or upset with me after reading this, to those, I sincerely apologize.

A couple months ago I took all my music down off streaming services. There were a few reasons for this; none of which are really worth mentioning now. After some deliberation and speaking with friends, I’ve decided to put the music back up, albeit in a somewhat more concise catalog, explained below. I would like to mention the discography as it was originally released is still available on bandcamp at the link in bio.

“Blu Joy”
- this encompasses the Blu Joy catalog from 86 (2018) through the self titled album (2023)

“Volume I-IV”
- this encompasses my solo body of work from 2019-2023

“Echoes”
- this is an album I produced myself last year. It’s not as polished as the older releases, but I still think it’s listenable.

Ending on a positive note. I’ve been trying to kick my ass into gear and get some work done musically. I have a lot “on the back burner”. A couple of releases are close to completion that I would love to get out to you fine folks. Hopefully I can get them to you before the end of the year.

Thanks for reading this if you did, and for listening. I appreciate it.

We will play newbies and possibly oldies, what would you guys want to hear?

HEY PHX. DO YOU PLAY AN INSTRUMENT?
Blu Joy may have some possible live shows coming up and your boy is looking for musicians to fill out the live Blu Joy band. If this is something you may be interested in please dm or shoot an email or reach out in some way. Some experience is preferred.
Pics are some behind the scenes of a session this past weekend. Lots more new music coming soon. Ok thanks bye

NEW ALBUM OUT TODAY!
Kind of a compilation album. your boy has been going to college for the last 9 months. I learned how to record and mix, at least somewhat. These are some songs recorded while at school over the last 4-5 months. So thats why i’m saying its kind of a compilation. Thank you endlessly to any and all of my classmates that helped record some of these sessions, as well as for the camaraderie we all shared that got us through classes. I am almost done with school and hopefully into a better job, which will hopefully inspire more and lead to more creative output. I don’t know what the future holds, but I still now and always hope to return with more music soon. Thank you for reading this if you did, and for listening if you did that too.
