On National Black Men Physicians Day, ElevateMeD honors the real-life superheroes changing the face of medicine, with Black men making up only about 3% of all U.S. physicians.
We celebrate Black men who are transforming health care every day and support future physician leaders through education-related financial support, mentorship, and leadership development to help overcome barriers along their journeys.
With Explosion of a Dream ’26 just one week away, assemble with us to celebrate, support, and elevate the future of medicine together!
Once described by his peers as gregarious, ElevateMeD Scholar iPod Hassan finds joy in connection and community, viewing those around him as brothers and sisters. Excited to participate in ElevateMeD’s financial literacy programming, iPod hopes to expand his knowledge of personal finance, innovative healthcare finance, and strategies for building a sustainable career.
