Better Piggies Rescue

Three Little Piggies: Hamilton, Francis, and Kyle (left to right). All safe because of the Arizona Humane Society and now living their best piggy lives at Better Piggies. We value our partnerships with all the rescues in AZ but when we heard 6 months ago they had rescue piggies to place in homes, we didn’t have the room. However recently we made the decision to bring them in because of our supporters and volunteers. Never underestimate the voice of a BPR supporter! Instead of being alone, these three beautiful boys now get to hang with the Field pigs, making all sorts of piggy friends (Pua is their favorite which is also helping her through her depression). I wish we could bring in every piggy that needs a home but we always have to be aware of our capabilities as a rescue and ensure we have enough resources available. Big big shout out to Animal Control officer Gallo for bringing them to us and doing the job that must be done to protect these beautiful beings. If you are coming around this fall for a tour or orientation, we have no doubt these three will be the first ones who greet you when you reach the field. 🐷🐷🐷❤️

Chuck says THANK YOU! We raised $7500 for our new rescue vehicle thanks to some amazing donors! We really appreciate the love and support for our over 215+ rescue piggies that call BPR home, many being rescued by our rescue vehicles. Now to find our new piggy rescue mobile. When it’s been a long week and I feel like giving up, I see the smiles on their faces and the love in their eyes, and I know all the headache and heartbreak is worth it because they are safe and happy. ❤️🐷
