Meet Tigger, the sweetest little shadow who would happily spend the rest of her life attached to your hip… or preferably directly on your lap. 🥹

Tigger is an incredibly affectionate, gentle girl who LOVES her people. She’ll follow you from room to room, curl up as close as physically possible, and happily turn herself into your own personal weighted blanket. 😂🧡

But don’t let her cuddly side fool you — this girl knows how to have fun! Tigger loves running around, being chased, playing with other dogs, getting the zoomies, and settling down afterward with a good bone and a cozy couch.

She has a sweet, tolerant play style with other dogs and would love a dog-friendly home where she can have a buddy to play with. She’s also crate trained, sleeps in her crate, does well there while her humans are at work, listens well, and is making great progress with potty training!

Who wouldn’t want to adopt this perfect little pittie piggy guy?! 😭🐷

Wilbur has been doing SO amazing in foster, and we seriously can’t say enough good things about him. He’s sweet, smart, silly, well-behaved, and somehow manages to be the perfect mix of couch potato + playful little piglet. 🥹

And his foster report card?! Basically straight A’s:

✨ Nondestructive
✨ SO smart
✨ Calm when it’s time to chill, lively when it’s time to play
✨ With proper introductions, we think he’s likely dog friendly
✨ An all-around ridiculously sweet & easy boy to have around

Wilbur is also continuing to heal beautifully. 🥹 His skin is looking better and better, and we’ve even started seeing new little hairs growing in!! He’ll have a couple more localized lime sulfur treatments while he finishes healing, but our piggy boy has come SUCH a long way. 💗

His foster says he has been so easy to foster… which has us wondering how this perfect pig hasn’t been scooped up yet?!

UPDATE ON LIZ ❤️

We wanted to share an update on Liz and ask our community to continue showing up for someone who has spent so much of her life showing up for others.

As we’ve learned more about the extent of Liz’s injuries, it has become clear that her road to recovery will be much longer than we originally understood.

Liz suffered devastating injuries to both of her arms and hands. Right now, even the simplest parts of everyday life are difficult. Liz needs help getting dressed, preparing food, washing her hands, and managing basic daily care. Her recovery will require extensive rehabilitation, and doctors now expect that she may be unable to return to work for at least a year.

As a nurse, foster, volunteer, and friend, Liz has spent years taking care of others. She has opened her home to countless rescue dogs, including some of Desert Dog Project’s most medically fragile dogs, and cared for them through the moments when they needed someone most.

Now she needs that same kind of care from all of us.

With Liz unable to work, the financial impact is becoming increasingly urgent. A GoFundMe has been created to help with her medical and rehabilitation expenses, household bills, and basic living necessities while she focuses on healing and regaining her independence.
