Get up close and personal with sports in this fall 2026 study abroad opportunity! Explore the role of sports events, community sports organizations and sport tourism in shaping social, cultural and economic life in London and the United Kingdom. Plus, you'll watch your ASU Sun Devils take on the Kansas Jayhawks in the Union Jack football game!

The Van Buren in Downtown Phoenix is a 1,800 capacity concert venue that has been hosting a variety of musical acts and events since 2017. Last week they opened their doors to PRM 145, Introduction to Special Event Management for a Behind the Scenes Tour.

Last week students in PRM 145 Introduction to Special Event Management had the opportunity to learn what it takes to plan events in a museum. From where food can be served to what exhibits must be protected, there is a lot to consider, but when done correctly, museum venues have so much to offer guests! Thank you Phoenix Art Museum for hosting our class!
