📝 SHPE University of Arizona Mock Interview Volunteers Needed!!!

SHPE UA is looking for support as they prepare for internship and full-time recruiting opportunities!

They're looking for professionals to volunteer their time to help students practice their interviewing skills. This event serves as a low-stakes environment for them to practice in time for the SHPE National Convention. More details to your specific role will come closer to the event!

¡Buenas! Grab your tablas and get ready for Lotería! 🎉

Join SHPE Phoenix for a fun evening of Lotería, food, drinks, and familia at Sana Sana Cerveceria! If you've never played before, Lotería is a traditional Mexican game similar to bingo, but instead of numbers, players match colorful characters and images called out from a deck of cards. Don't worry if you've never played, we'll get you up to speed!

⚠️ PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY! Sana Sana does not accept reservations, so we encourage everyone to arrive around 5:30 PM to help us grab tables and sit together before Lotería begins at 6:00 PM. Seating together is not guaranteed, so the earlier, the better!

SHPE PHX x SHPE UA La Familia

SHPE Phoenix is partnering with SHPE UA for La Familia, an outreach event that provides adults in the Tucson community with practical technology, academic, and career tools.

We’re looking for professionals, especially Spanish speakers, to support SHPE Phoenix’s Professional Development Workshop by helping attendees with resumes, interview preparation, elevator pitches, and job-search guidance.

Spanish is not required — all volunteers are welcome!

The full La Familia event runs 8:00 AM–2:00 PM, and volunteers are also welcome to help SHPE UA with other workshops, setup, or cleanup for additional volunteer hours.
