Just another day behind the scenes with your BASIS Phoenix Boosters crew! ❤️🐦

Our weekly team meeting = laptops out, coffee in hand, lots of ideas flying around, and of course… a little catching up too! 😂

This week we’re talking Halloween 🎃👻, planning some fun for our Firebird families, and lining up our next fundraising Dine In nights 🍕🍔.

A lot of what we do happens behind the scenes, but it’s all for one thing: making school life a little more fun for our kids and supporting our amazing teachers and campus.

Just a quick reminder that our Parent Boosters Kickoff Meeting is tonight from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.

It's only an hour, and it's a real chance to see what the Boosters do, meet your board and ambassadors, and have a say in what happens at our school this year.

Whether you're new to BASIS Phoenix, just starting 6th grade, or a returning Firebird family, we would love to have you there.

ON THE AGENDA:

*Carpool Directory Quick Tutorial
*Boosters Strategy Reframe
*Year in Review + What's Ahead
*September and October Events
*Meet your Board and Ambassadors
*Open Forum, Ask us Anything!

We're also launching this year's big campaign, Choose Your Impact: Replace Classroom Projectors, Click here for Details: https://basisphoenixboosters.membershiptoolkit.com/story/483058

Bonus: a limited number of Casa Paraiso prepaid beach vacation passes are available, and 10% of every sale goes straight to the projector fund. Just something extra to know about if it interests you. We only hold this meeting twice a year, so this is really one of just two chances all year to hear everything in one place and meet the people behind the Boosters.

Know a parent who has not heard of us yet? Please forward this to them and invite them along. The more Firebird families in the room, the better.

We have many new families joining this year and would love for you to be part of the community.

Hope to see you Wednesday!

🌴 A Rocky Point Getaway That Gives Back to BASIS Phoenix

Looking for an affordable way to enjoy Rocky Point with your family while also supporting our BASIS Phoenix community?

BASIS Phoenix families, I wanted to share something special with our community. I'm offering a prepaid Vacation Pass at a steep discount, with 10% of every pass sold through our community going directly to BASIS Phoenix Boosters' Choose Your Impact campaign to replace classroom projectors.

Here's how it works. You pay once, upfront, and that locks in either 14 or 21 nights at Casa Paraiso, at about 40 to 55% off the regular nightly rate. You're not stuck using it all in one trip. Split those nights into up to 4 or 5 separate reservations over the next 2 to 3 years, whenever works for your family.

The 14 Night Pass is $1,499, about $107 a night. The 21 Night Pass is $2,199, about $105 a night. Both prices already include the resort fee and cleaning fee, so there are no surprise charges when you show up.

There are only 8 passes total, and every single one sold helps our Boosters campaign.

Over the past year, Casa Paraiso has provided complimentary stays to BASIS Phoenix families and staff. With Labor Day weekend, fall break, Thanksgiving, and Christmas break coming up, this could be a great way for BASIS families to plan several Rocky Point getaways over the next few years while keeping the cost of lodging much lower.

For questions or to reserve a pass, contact Arcelie at 480 878 0004 or [email protected].

Let’s make family time a little more affordable while putting some of it back into our BASIS Phoenix classrooms. 💙

BASIS Phoenix Families — We Need Your Help

BASIS Phoenix is a tuition-free public charter school, but many people do not realize that charter schools receive about 30% less government funding than traditional public schools. At the same time, BASIS Phoenix continues to rank as one of the top schools, without families paying tens of thousands of dollars in tuition like many highly ranked private schools.

A huge part of that success comes from the quality of our teachers and the strength of our school community.

We are three weeks from the end of the school year and still about 28% short of our Annual Teacher Fund goal.

So we want to ask every BASIS Phoenix family directly:

👉 Have you made your contribution to the Annual Teacher Fund this school year?

If you haven't yet, we encourage you to make your donation now.

Every dollar matters and goes directly toward supporting our teachers through performance-based compensation. Strong teacher retention directly benefits our students, classrooms, and school community.

🔥ALERT!! 🔥Enter into a raffle for each $100 donation for a 4-night stay at a Rocky Point condo (donated by Arcelie Butterfield). The condo is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit located at Casa Blanca Golf Villas Resort in Rocky Point / Puerto Peñasco, Mexico - https://casablancagolfvillas.com/

Thank you to BASIS Phoenix administration, teachers, staff, Boosters, and every family that continues to support our school community. Let’s finish this school year strong together.

✨ Happy School Leaders' Day! Join us in celebrating the leaders who set the tone for excellence in our schools. 🏫

Last Orchestra Concert of the School Year 🎻

What a way to close it out. The time, the practice, the commitment… it all showed on that stage.

We’re so proud of our students for showing up, putting in the work, and finishing strong. And a big thank you to our teachers and families who continue to support them every step of the way.

Moments like this remind us how special this community is.

👏 Great job, BASIS Phoenix Orchestra!
