I printed this one of a kind dry point with one pass through the press. I carefully inked up the plate with mostly Van D**e Brown and Paynes Grey. I then inked up the area with the 20 Dollar Bill in Oxide Green. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I'm going to be working on a version with three dry point plates to get even more control and ability to manipulate more things.

I was inspired by a Diner Ted and I went to in New York. It's turning into a series.

This is the work that's going to be in the Arts in Service Veterans Art Show at The Mesa Arts Center, Contemporary Art Museum from March 26 - April 5.

Sketching out my next Linocut, 6" x 8", carving block for the Veterans Art Class at the Mesa Arts Center. It's a stack of thin mints from Olive Garden. Might just focus on getting the feeling of the overlapping wrappers and not place text on them.

Had fun today at the Veterans Art Class at the Aster, playing with chalk pastels working with landscape drawing, 12" x 9" on watercolor paper.

One More Drink, scratch art, won second place last night in the Arizona Artist Guild Artist of the Month contest at their monthly meeting!

Had a fabulous time at the Painting workshop with Holbein painting supplies! We had 10 - 15 minutes at the end to play with the paint 🎨 so, I started a café scene. We got to take a bunch of painting materials home with us at the end!! We did a red gesso on the surface before painting on top of it, 4 1/2" x 6".

I just got a call from the VA today, I won 1st place in the National VA Creative Arts Festival Competition in the printmaking category with The Seuss Amongst Us!!!! They're paying for the work to get shipped to the National show in Columbia, SC from June 9 - 14!!! So excited!

This is a great way to start the 2026 year!! I found out that I won another International Art Award from an online Gallery "My Best Work 2025" show that I submitted one of my graphite drawings to!!
