Great news...our sweet girl Amelia has gone on her 2 weeks foster-to-adopt program today🙏💕🎉
She was a tiny kitten when we TNR'D mom & litter, and has been with us ever since..first report is she is doing really well, friendly, cuddling, making herself at home🙏

Hoping to trap this poor little soul who only appears overnight...wish us luck🙏💕
I can't get a good look to see age, gender, but suspect very young. S/he is getting used to me/my voice, when I give her food...s/he's started to come nearer the house and meows to let me know s/he's hungry, although still very skittish if I get within 10 yards🥲🙏🐈‍⬛
That's Hudson the goat in the background. He's the one who was very sick/couldn't walk for a few months. Now he's back out with his herd🙏🐐💙

UPDATE on 💙Hudson💙
who suddenly couldn't use his front legs a few mths ago. We were donated a stand from our wonderful friends Stephanie Jorge Chavez. 🙏💕

He got extra hay, grain, bananas, greens, clementines, meds etc for weeks, carried outside for some sunshine and fresh air, carried back inside to sleep on his blankets, everyday, then finally got up and walked a little. Got stronger every day, then finally back out with his herd.

Here he is today, still doing wonderfully, thanks to our resident volunteers🙏💕

He's smiling in his sleep🥰He's the best boy. Him and his BFF Josie sleep next to the kitchen in the gated off laundry room at night, so there's no commotion etc with the other dogs😊

Our little "goat-dog", Lilo, 5 mths old, is the sweetest little thing🥰 She comes inside for her grain, runs around the house like a little puppy, saying hi to everyone, gives kisses then goes back outside to her mama Sammie🥰🤭🙏

The horrors at Miranda's Rescue & Sanctuary are being exposed💔😭

This rescue charged from $500 to $2000 per dog they took in, hundreds and hundreds of dogs over the 30 yrs they've been operating💔😭 from other rescues, municipal shelters and owner surrenders.

No transparency on where dogs went to after he got ahold of them(adopter/foster etc)

FBI, Sheriff, Animal Control, AG Office etc are all at the scene, watching body after body be exhumed💔😭 while building an airtight case for cruelty, neglect, etc as well as Embezzlement, Breach of Contract.

Monday 29th of June, there will be a live update from the Humbolt County Sheriff's Office.

So far they have found almost 200 dogs remains, a pile of 600 tossed collars in the barn where these dogs were probably killed, 4 loose microchips, bullet fragments etc💔😭

People now saying they've suspected this place was not good for YEARS, but nobody listened to them at the time💔😭 Two ladies did something more🙏..they bought the vacant land next door, set up trail cams, and even got onto the property to get evidence of holes being dug.

Everyone should speak out if they feel something is "off"

If you see anyone posting that they sent a dog there, please recommend they join this group below, & post any dogs that were sent to Miranda's Rescue, so they know who is still missing, and know who previous owner/rescue/shelter is🙏💔 Most of these dogs were microchipped🙏

They are compiling a list to try to match rescues/shelters/owners up with deceased dogs or dogs who they have proof of adoption.

Only one good thing can come of this horror story. ALL shelters/Rescues/Sanctuaries should have unannounced visits, with records for each & every animal that came through. Harsh sentencing, mandatory spay/neuter/vaccinations/microchip.
Backyard breeders, puppymills, be abolished.
Never do we need to see these type of operation ever again.
