One of the reasons you train (and continue to train) your dog is so that on your worst days, your dog can still handle what life throws at you.
Last month, Trainer Shanna lost power at her house. They were prepared with plenty of fans and ice to keep all the pets cool, but the outage lasted long enough that batteries and phones needed to be recharged.
Luckily, there were animal-friendly cooling centers available for well-behaved pets. Thanks to continued training, Bangarang was a welcomed guest while Shanna was able to get batteries and phones charged.
Training isn’t just about having a dog that listens when everything is going perfectly. It’s about preparing them for real life…especially when things don’t go according to plan.
