And *p**f* — just like that, my baby is starting the first day of his last year of high school. It feels like just yesterday he was starting preschool! I can’t believe how fast time has flown. I’m super-proud of this amazing kid and can’t wait to see what’s in store for him

Well, that’s a wrap on Speech and Debate Nationals for Will! Next time he’s here, it’ll be as a coach or judge (or both!). I’m super proud of this kid and his 4th place finish in Best Speaker for World Schools Debate. He had a great team and great coaches, and while it’s a bit bittersweet for me because I will not be able to share these experiences with him anymore, I’m thrilled for what the future holds for him!

Last day of high school. And just like that, he’s not a high school senior anymore!! 😭 🎓 Yes, some days have been long, but dang, the years sure were short. Michigan State, here he comes!

It’s official! is headed to Michigan State as part of the honors program and will be majoring in political science. I’m one incredibly proud mama, and I’m so excited for him to begin this next phase in his life. Go Spartans!

Been a busy couple of days and this mom is super proud! Congrats to for 2nd place at Phoenix Rotary’s 95th annual speech contest (and bestie Noah for 1st), plus National Merit finalist recognition yesterday, as well as being selected ACP student of the year. And oh yeah…he’s Michigan State bound!

Spent a great morning with volunteering at in PHX. Felt good to step up and help!

And the college road trip continues! Delaware > Norfolk…next stop: Wilmington, NC. Tolls: ~$18. Tunnels: 2. Bridges: too many to count. Lost credit cards: 1. *sigh* At least we get to stay with bestie tonight and tomorrow night!

It’s road trip time! (And our college tours together.) And I get to spend it with this amazing kid! U of Delaware, Old Dominion, Coastal Carolina, UNC Wilmington, and College of Charleston.
