I find this quote to be a rather mystical point of view. Spiritual experiences CAN be found in solid science especially when encountering evidence that implies oneness.

This reminds me a lot of Meister Eckhart's words, “There is no need to look for God here or there. He is no farther away than the door of your own heart.” There are many variations of this idea among mystics. To me, it means God is not out there, but rather in here.

When I visit a forest I am quickly drawn into both its delicate and majestic Beauty. The color, shape, and texture of every fern, leaf, or flower induce a mystical connection. Whereas the canopy of trees overhead inspires me with their grace and their grandeur. If there is a stream or a rivulet I am bound to sit and listen to their melodies as I study their motion.
