Meet Phillip. ☂️

We met Phillip during our latest Seattle outreach. He studied architecture and later became a teacher, but after a difficult court battle, he says he lost nearly everything.

Phillip told us he carries a lot of pain from what he’s experienced, but he keeps battling. He lives by what he calls the “3 T’s”: tactics, timing, and tenacity.

Through everything, Phillip has become what he calls a “straight shooter,” someone who speaks his mind and tells it like it is.

Behind every person is a lifetime of experiences that brought them to where they are today.

Everyone has a story worth hearing. This is Phillip’s. 💙

We met John during our latest Seattle outreach. A diehard Saints fan, he recently made his way to the Pacific Northwest, drawn to the cooler weather and his love for nature.

By his side are his two dachshunds, a mom and her son. As much as John looks out for himself, he makes sure they're taken care of too.

When we met him, he was on his way to pick up a solar charger someone had offered for his government-issued phone, a small gesture that can make a meaningful difference.

John is also navigating health challenges and working to get the proper medical care he needs. Despite what he's faced, he continues forward with positivity and gratitude.

Yesterday, our Austin team hit the streets with 50 care packages filled with essentials, using each one as an opportunity to connect, listen, and remind our neighbors that they're seen, heard, and not forgotten. ☂️

From Seattle to Austin and beyond, the city may change, but the purpose never does.

More conversations. More connection. Same mission. Keeping people first. Always. 💙

This weekend, our Seattle team hit the streets with 75 backpacks filled with hygiene kits, socks, gloves, and blankets, using each one as an opportunity to connect, listen, and remind our neighbors that they're seen, heard, and not forgotten.

We were also excited to welcome our newest volunteers, Lauren, Jake, Carly, Kate, Claudya, and Connor, to their first projectUmbrella outreach. ☂️

New faces. More conversations. Same mission. Keeping people first. Always. 💙

This afternoon, our Phoenix team distributed 300 care packages & meals throughout our community, each filled with essential hygiene items, everyday necessities, and a reminder that every person deserves to be seen, valued, and cared for.

We’re beyond grateful for all of our returning volunteers and are excited to welcome Dr. Peter Niemczyk to his first distribution with projectUmbrella! Moments like these are only possible because of the people who continue to show up with compassion, generosity, and a willingness to connect. 💙☂️

Our 2nd Annual Dinner for Dignity brought together 200 people united by a simple belief: everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and treated with dignity.

To everyone who showed up, gave, volunteered, sponsored, shared our story, or simply believed in what we're building: thank you.

More than a dinner, it was a reminder of what's possible when we make room for one another.
