Not the highest price. Not the lowest.
The right one.
Scott hired us for the hardscaping and turf around his pool — everything but the water.
What he mentioned in his review wasn’t the pavers. It was that we were onsite every single day.
That’s the Project Manager difference. You’re not chasing a phone number hoping someone shows up.
★★★★★ “I would hire him again in a heartbeat.”

Three questions every homeowner needs to ask before letting a crew step foot on their property.
First: Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Second: Is the guy pitching you the actual contractor, or just a door-knocker salesman who disappears on day one?
Third: What base materials are going under your stone or turf? Cheap materials might save a few bucks upfront, but they turn your yard into a sinkhole in two years.
Homeowners: Have you ever hired a salesman who promised one thing, only for a completely different crew to show up and mess it up? Let's talk in the comments.

Fixing a cheap contractor’s mistake usually costs twice as much as doing it right the first time.
Case in point: We are ripping out 400 square feet of pavers that were set on a thick bed of loose sand with zero rock base underneath. Give it a couple of years, and soft sand shifts, washes out, and sinks under your feet.
Now the homeowner gets to pay an extra four grand for us to excavate it, pour real ABC aggregate base rock, and rebuild it to standard.
To the homeowners out there: Have you ever had to pay a second contractor to fix a bad job left behind by the first guy?
Let's hear your horror stories in the comments.

We left dead grass and concrete curbs behind on this one.
We added a custom Alumawood structure- with a zen space, to allow for 24/7 shade.
All new rock, Artificial turf, custom curves, steps, all pieced for this customer.
Homeowners call us all the time asking for a yard drain like it’s going to make standing water magically evaporate.
Newsflash: drains don't eliminate water, they just relocate it. If you put a drain in without planning where that pipe empties out, you're either going to flood your neighbor's property, ruin utility lines, or get a furious letter from your HOA. A real drainage plan is about directing water where it can safely run off without causing a war on your street.
Have you ever had a neighbor's yard drain discharge directly onto your property during a heavy storm? Drop your nightmare stories in the comments.

Would you pay an extra $400 for a seamless, professional artificial lawn, or save a few bucks and let a contractor turn your yard into a jigsaw puzzle?
Some crews cut costs by "scrap seaming"—stitching together random leftover scraps of turf to avoid buying a full roll. You end up with a dozen ugly, visible lines running through your lawn. We buy full 15-foot rolls and place every seam strategically so you can't even tell where the turf was joined.
Let's settle it in the comments: Would visible seams in your turf drive you crazy every time you looked outside, or do you just want the lowest price possible?

Unpopular opinion: Half the stuff people put in their Arizona backyards is a complete waste of money.
I see homeowners throw thousands of dollars at fire pits they use once a year, complex irrigation systems for plants they'll never prune, and cheap contractor bids that fail before the first monsoons hit. Do it right the first time, build for the desert climate, and stop burning cash on features you don't actually need.
Let’s hear it in the comments: Which one of these three do you think is the biggest waste of money in a desert yard? Fire pits, unmaintained plants, or cheap bids?

Anybody can post a pretty picture of a finished patio on Instagram. But what does their job site look like while they're building it?
That’s where the real truth comes out. Pictures don't show you if the contractor cheaped out on the base rock, skipped the sand prep, or left trash blown all over the neighborhood. We post our ongoing builds because we've got nothing to hide under the pavers. Compacted base, precision cuts, clean job sites, every single time.
Let's debate in the comments: Do you hire contractors based on their finished portfolio photos, or do you actually look into how they work on-site?

3D design rendering vs. real life execution—did the crew nail this one?
Four days ago, this backyard was nothing but a pile of rock and some pink spray paint lines on the dirt. We took the design concept, brought out the crew, and built large-format paver patios, side walkways, a grill extension, and high-drainage turf inlays.
Just sweeping in the final polymeric sand and brushing the grass before handing over the keys.
Drop a comment: What’s your favorite part of this layout—the large-format pavers, the turf inlays, or the custom side walkway?

Your neighbors shouldn't have to suffer just because you're getting a new backyard.
Major construction is always going to be messy—there’s no way around it when you're moving tons of dirt, stone, and pavers. But a professional crew cleans up as they go. We stack our pallets, sweep and blow the street daily, set out safety cones, and even put signs out across the street so the neighborhood knows what’s up. It’s called organized chaos.
Be honest in the comments: What is the worst mess a neighbor’s contractor has ever left parked in front of your house? Let’s hear the nightmare stories below.
