We had a great meeting tonight planning for the year ahead at First Studio Gallery. The best curatorial team ever! Ellen Nemetz, Marnelle North, Tess Mosko Scherer and Kris Kollasch. .

First studio Gallery will not be open for the July 3rd, first Friday. But we do encourage you to head on down to grand Avenue and check out the opening of the show “Melt” art Five15. And I’m sure Nancy Hill will be printing up something good at Hazel & Violet! And save the date for our closing reception on the fifth Friday of July.

This week we will be hosting Art Wins Pitch Night. Five artists will pitch their concept to win a substantial grant and prime viewing location at the 2026 art prize event taking place in Michigan this spring. The concepts have already been chosen as the top contenders out of multiple application sent in. It sure to be a motivational and inspiring evening. You’ll also have a chance to see the latest show, our Five Star Invitational, in the gallery space. This Tuesday, June 30, doors at 6:30 event starts at seven.

Mark Two Ravens and "Wilbur The Pig" Sold at the First Studio Art Gallery in Phoenix. First Studio Gallery, ,
Don't forget This Friday from 5-9 p.m. opening reception for the 5-Star Invitational. Meet the artists, have some light refreshments, some bubbly and find the "perfect" piece of art for your home. We'll see you there! By special appearance, "The Red Jester" will be dealing out fortunes....my guess is the red card each time.

We will be hosting this PITCH NIGHT. Shows us your best !
