National non-profit governmental purchasing cooperative serving members nationwide. And, it’s totally free! Safe, compliant, and thoroughly vetted.
1GPA is a non-profit national governmental purchasing cooperative which allows public agencies to take advantage of existing contracts to purchase the goods and services they need from local and national vendors. 1GPA’s pooled purchasing power means public and private schools, cities, counties and state agencies, as well as colleges, universities and Native American communities can save actual budget dollars on our contracts utilizing best business practices. All of our contracts are competitively bid and awarded in compliance with state statutes, procurement laws and regulations.
1GPA’s purchasing power and access to established public contracts means agencies can purchase building products, office supplies, furnishings, janitorial supplies, office machines, computers & software, telecommunications, and more at the most competitive pricing available. Built on close relationships, backed by exceptional business experience. At 1GPA, we believe relationship building is an essential practice in any business. That’s why our clients can be sure they will receive the benefits of pooled purchasing power, paired with the professionalism and devotion to customer service that clients should be able to expect in the private sector. Agencies that partner with 1GPA are assured of the firm’s proactive approach and determination to ensure the best possible outcome for our members. This includes the best pricing available, access to current industry solutions, unparalleled customer service, and more. As required by law, 1GPA awards contracts following the purchasing procedures mandated by state & federal laws and regulations. We are based in Arizona, but we partner with members all over the United States. We work closely with your schools! On our website you will find all due diligence documents as well as guidelines for K-12 Compliance. Our ability to make vetted lead public agency contracts available, free of charge, ensures that value is paired with selection.

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Stephanie Urioste as she joins the 1GPA Procurement Team as our new Contract Specialist!
Stephanie comes to 1GPA with a few years of purchasing experience and brings a great combination of enthusiasm, curiosity, and a genuine desire to continue learning and growing.
To help you get to know Stephanie a little better, we asked her a few questions to share with the 1GPA family. Here’s what she had to say:
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟?
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐔𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞: “My favorite quality about myself is my humility.”
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟?
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐔𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞: “Don’t sweat the small stuff!”
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐧?
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐔𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞: “I love to go camping with my family and I also love to read!”
We are so excited to have Stephanie on the 1GPA team and look forward to all that she’ll bring to our Procurement Team!

Many of us can look back and remember something a coach once told us that stuck with us long after the season ended.
Coaches have a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on students and young adults. They are not only teaching skills and teamwork, but they are also the people who encourage us to push a little harder and believe in ourselves.
This National Coaches Day, we want to hear from you!
What’s a quote, piece of advice, or lesson from a coach that has stayed with you over the years? Share it in the comments and let’s celebrate the coaches who made a difference in our lives!
They have a way of making people feel understood, even without saying much.
They care deeply about what they do, and somehow, that passion is contagious.
They choose kindness, even when patience is being tested.
They’re willing to slow down, explain it one more time, and meet people where they are.
They celebrate the little victories, encourage through the tough moments, and never make someone feel like a burden for needing a little extra help.
We believe great teachers make the world a better place. Thank you to all the teachers reading this!

Commercial fire incidents result in over $3.16 billion in direct property damage nationally (U.S. Fire Administration).
While not all fires can be prevented, there are steps you can take to ensure schools and office buildings are prepared in case of an emergency.
Let’s keep our spaces safe and secure this Fire Prevention Safety Week with simple steps like knowing your exits, practicing fire drills, testing alarms, and staying prepared for the unexpected.
Thank you to Benson Systems for providing these tips for us to share.
