How do you put a 15 year career into words? It feels impossible. But I’m going to try.

When I moved to Arizona in 2011, I didn’t know it would change my life. Or maybe I did. After all, why would I move almost cross country to a city I’d never even been to? But something told me it was the right thing.

Through these 15 years, my work has brought me to every corner of this state, and I’ve met the most incredible people. Thank you to every person who trusted me with their stories on your best and worst days. I never took it lightly.

As you know-having my son has changed everything for my husband and I-in the best way. So I need a life change to be there for his big and little moments. A shout out to my amazing partner for his steadfastness through it all.

Arizona gave me my husband, our first home, our son, and friends who’ve turned into family. And I’m deeply grateful.

To my colleagues, every teammate I’ve had, the producers, directors, photographers, digital team, reporters, anchors, and my managers, thank you for your trust and grace.

As for what’s next? A lot of rest. Time with my family. And a reset. I have plans but the time for that news will come.
