Summer heat keeps our hutch a little sparse because..

well lots of our products are made from BEESWAX, and that means they melt.

So as the temps drop in October we will be refilling this space with beautiful candles, beeswax wraps and salves.

It’s all nice and warm now.

THE MOST USED item in my pantry is my dehydrated vegetable broth powder, and even though I use it a couple times a week, I still have so much from the batch we made a few years ago.

Seriously! This stuff is amazing.

I know exactly what is in it, so if a recipe calls for those ingredients or for chicken or vegetable broth I just use this. It is very salty like a bouillon, so it excellent for seasoning.

I use it as the base for all my soups, seasoned rice, sauces and even for salad dressings and dips.

It has loads of vegetables and herbs and spices. Some I grow and some I buy.

The next batch I make will have moringa and some other super greens, because why not?
