Blooming Ranch

It’s been a few months since we came up here to forage, and boy has it all grown so much.

Such a joy to get out of the 100 degree temps and breathe the wild 82 degree air.

I LOVE that I can eat all the olives I want with jars and jars still in the cupboard!!

Maybe I won’t harvest as many this year.

Or maybe I will and give some away. I love it!

This year I am roasting some of my mesquite slightly and grinding it before storage.

Just bought some nopales from Food City for 63¢.

These are so easy to grow and soon we can pick all we want.
