Twenty-five years after 9/11, we remember those lost and reflect on one of the most significant moments in U.S. history. But a generation of young Americans has grown up knowing the terrorist attacks only through history books, conversations, and the stories of those who lived through them.

Daniel Rothenberg is the Co-Director of Future Security Initiative, a collaborative hub between ASU and New America that conducts research and policy analysis on global security challenges. He sat down with Ted Simons this week to discuss the complex perspectives about the legacy of 9/11 in America today.
