Sunny is a 3-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier / Rhodesian Ridgeback / Black Cur mix who was rescued by the brave crew at the Phoenix Fire Department after deciding sidewalks were too hot to handle. This big, goofy boy went from street wanderer to firehouse favorite faster than you can say “Code Red — cute dog on scene!”
Now this strong, silly, four-legged firefighter is ready to retire from emergency calls and report for duty as your full-time couch warmer, adventure buddy, and professional snuggle specialist. With a tail that wags harder than a fire truck siren, Sunny is always fired up and ready to spark joy wherever he goes.

Elmer is very smart and loves to learn new things, he’s also dog friendly with other large dogs! He is crate/house trained, loves belly rubs, and enjoys being around adults and kids .

Samson is a beautiful 7 year old German Shepherd he weighs around 65 lb and he is the perfect pet he is Crate trained house trained and the biggest sweetheart of a dog he could ever find. Samson loves to play fetch with the balls or sticks is good with kids and other animals and just loves people. Samson has had all of his shots and is in great health. Reach out!

This 4-year-old, 55lb neutered king has been unfairly overlooked just because one eye decided to retire early. (Rude, eye. Rude.) But plot twist: he still fetches like a pro, knows commands in TWO languages (oui oui AND English, very cultured), loves car rides, walks, toys, and — get this — actually enjoys other dogs. No drama, no side-eye (well... mostly).
He's basically the pirate of pups: one eye patch not included, but the charm and mischief are built-in. 🏴☠️
Joey doesn't need perfect vision to see that your couch is his new favorite spot and your heart is his next conquest. Foster this handsome goofball and prove that the best treasures come with a little character. Who's ready to be adopted by a legend?

Leo is a 1-year-old male Chihuahua mix who will be turning 2 years old in a couple of months. He is a sweet and shy boy who can take some time to warm up, but once he gets to know you and feels comfortable he becomes very affectionate and loving. He is looking for a home where he can feel safe, loved, and included as part of the family.
Leo is friendly with people he knows and has a good relationship with the kids in our family. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and crate trained.
What Leo loves:
- Food and treats: Leo is very food-motivated and eager to learn, especially when treats are involved!
- Going outside: He loves going on walks and enjoys getting outside, even if it's just for a short walk.
- Attention: He loves pets, praise, and spending time with his people. Leo may choose one person as his favorite, but he loves everyone in the family who gives him attention.
- Cuddling: Leo is always trying to become a lapdog by cuddling up with you.
What kind of home would be best for Leo:
- Older children: Leo gets along with the younger kids in our family, but he can sometimes get overly excited and jump. Because of this, he may do best in a home with older children.
- Preferably the only dog: Leo would likely be happiest as the only dog in the home so he can have plenty of attention from his family. He gets along with our other dog who is his brother but I don't know if he will get along with dogs he doesn't know.
- Patient home: Leo will bark when he sees or meets strangers, but he is usually loving and affectionate toward people he knows. He will need some time to feel comfortable around new people.
Tricks & Commands Leo Knows:
- Sit: He will sit when asked.
- Down: He will lie down when asked.
- Paw: He will give you his paw.
- Good: When I say “good” and bring a treat toward him, he knows he is being rewarded.
- Yes: When I say “yes,” he comes to me for a treat.
- Get it!: If he sees me throw a treat while saying “get it,”

Negrita (mama) and Lia are 2 super sweet girls. They are a bone mouth Shar pei and each under 45 lbs. They have been in a loving foster home but would love forever! They can go together or to a home with another dog. Both are potty trained, leash trained and enjoy a quiet home!
