🐾 PetSmart Charities Grants
We’ve joined forces with over 3,000 animal welfare organizations to help save pet lives. Since 1994, we have granted more than $267 million to help save homeless pets. To read more about our grants, visit: https://www.petsmartcharities.org/pro/grants
🐾 Spay & Neuter Program
To reduce pet overpopulation, we have subsidized more than 1.4 million spay or neuter surgeries since 2009. To read more, please visit: https://www.petsmartcharities.org/what-we-do/spay-neuter
🐾 Food Insecurity
We know that when families face food insecurity, so do their pets. 1 in 8 people may face food insecurity, so our collaborations with partners such as Feeding America allow us to equip local food distribution events with pet food to help feed all members of the community—including our beloved pets. 🐾 Access to Care
As many as 50 million US pets don’t receive necessary veterinary care. Difficulties in obtaining care for our pets can range from financial hardship to transportation/location difficulties, so our goal is to help outfit our partners with grants that can help them take care of the pets in their community. 🐾 Emergency Relief
A critical pillar of PetSmart Charities is assisting individual incidents where pets are impacted by man-made or natural causes. To read more about emergency relief, visit https://www.petsmartcharities.org/pro/contact-us/emergency-relief

One adoption. One very full house. 🧡
Klondike found his loving family during our July National Adoption Week at the Brandywine Valley SPCA Everyday Adoption Center. Today, he's living the good life with a big sister, a big brother, and even a doggy sibling to show him the ropes. We love a new beginning and this one is full of love.
National Adoption Week is October 19–25. Stop by your local PetSmart and meet your new best friend. 🐱
Yesterday, we came together for Pet Hunger Awareness Day. 💙
We heard from people whose pets provide love, comfort, and companionship through life’s hardest moments. Making nutritious food more accessible helps people continue caring for the pets who mean so much to them.
We’re grateful to work alongside our partners Feeding America, Meals on Wheels America and Alphia to help make that possible.
Thank you to our partners, volunteers, and supporters. We couldn’t do this work without you. 🐱🐶
Today, our team met Linny and her pug, Habibi, during our Pet Hunger Awareness Day food distribution at St. Mary's Food Bank in Phoenix. While caring for her mother, Linny has turned to the food bank for support and shared how meaningful this resource has been for her family.
Through our partnership with Feeding America and its network of food banks, we’re proud to support pet families like Linny and Habibi’s across the country. 🫶🐶
Partnership is at the heart of helping more pets and families access the food they need. 💙🐾
This Pet Hunger Awareness Day, our team is at St. Mary's Food Bank, where approximately 1,100 families are expected to receive groceries and pet food.
Our partnership with Alphia helps make this possible by providing nutritious pet food that can reach families through Feeding America’s network of food banks, like St. Mary’s.
We’re grateful to work alongside partners who share our commitment to supporting the whole family, pets included. 🦴

Today marks the fourth annual Pet Hunger Awareness Day. Nearly 30 million pets in the U.S. live in homes experiencing food insecurity, reminding us that when families need support, pets do too.
Since launching in 2022, we've worked alongside partners like Meals on Wheels America and Feeding America to help pets and the people who love them. To date, more than 450 million pet meals have been delivered through these partnerships!
We’re proud to continue this work so more families and their pets can thrive together. 💙
We know how important the bond between people and pets can be. Pets provide companionship, comfort and, for many seniors, a reason to get up each morning. 🐶🐱
For seniors facing food insecurity, keeping their own plate and their pet’s bowl full can be difficult, sometimes leaving them to choose between feeding themselves, feeding their pet or sharing their own meal.
That’s why we’re working together with Meals on Wheels America and the providers at Aster Aging to help seniors and the pets they love access nutritious food. Because no one should have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their best friend. 💙
When families have access to both human food and pet food, everyone benefits. 💙🐾
We're proud to partner with and its network of food banks, including United Food Bank, to help provide resources that support pets and the people who love them. Together, we're helping more families when they need it most. 🦴
When disaster strikes, relief means making sure every member of the family is cared for. ❤️🐾
Last week in Muncie, Indiana, we helped provide 110,528 pet meals to more than 300 families affected by a natural disaster. That’s 17,992 pounds of pet food helping keep bowls full and pets where they belong: with the people who love them.💙

Delivering something special for the sweetest senior and her dog Buttercup 💛
Lonna brought Buttercup home when she was only six weeks old. Now she is 14 and still right by her side, keeping her company and filling her days with love.
After Lonna had to give up driving, getting everything Buttercup needs became more difficult. Thanks to people like you who donate, we've been able to partner with Meals on Wheels America to deliver pet food to homebound seniors and help keep pets fed and families together.
Together, we've have delivered more than 20 million pet meals!
Special thanks to the Washington County Commission on Aging and Ellie Golden Life for helping make this day possible.
