Texas summers don't play around, and we know our riders push themselves hard every single ride.

That's why we always offer water breaks and group breaks — no exceptions. Safety comes first, always. A well-hydrated rider is a stronger, sharper, safer rider.

A few reminders as the heat cranks up:
🥤 Bring a refillable water bottle to every lesson (bigger is better!)
🕐 Hydrate before you even get to the barn, not just during
🚫 Skipping water breaks isn't toughness — it's a risk we won't take

This one means a little extra.

Lori took a fall the week before this clinic (properly suited up in her safety vest — safety first, always) and got the wind knocked out of her pretty good. She wasn't cleared to ride for this one.

But here's what impressed us: she didn't check out. She stayed all in — auditing every group, walking courses, counting strides out loud, and asking more questions than anyone else at the clinic. She showed up for her own education even when she couldn't show up in the tack.

That's the whole game right there. Riding is what you do in the saddle. Horsemanship is everything you do when you're not.

Lori earned the Greatest Of All Time trophy not for a clean round, but for how she handled a week that didn't go as planned. Proud of you, Lori. 🙌
