As we celebrate Independence Day and mark the 250th birthday of the United States, we give thanks for the freedoms we cherish and pray for wisdom, justice and peace for our nation.

In the Wesleyan tradition, we believe faith calls us to personal and social holiness, loving God by loving our neighbors and seeking the common good. To celebrate Father’s Day on Sunday, June 21st, PPFUMC children and youth made handmade cards and decorated photo frames featuring their own pictures as gifts for their fathers and grandfathers. Special thanks go to Amanda Hundley, John and Donna Taylor, and Debbie Norvet for their wonderful assistance.
