It was a good kind of chaos across Pilot Point tonight! 🎉 PPMS packed the cafeteria for schedule pick-up and PPHS rolled out the red carpet for Meet the Teacher. Our buildings are buzzing and we are HERE for it!

Quick heads up before the big day: our start and end times have changed this year! New hours are 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM. ⏰

Time to dust off those backpacks, sharpen those pencils, and get those alarms set. We can't wait to see our Bearcats back on campus! 🐾

🎒 What an incredible day at our Back to School Bash!

So thankful to the 50+ volunteers who helped make today such a huge success! From backpacks and free haircuts to a bike raffle sponsored by Chandler Cabinets, awesome local vendors, and a huge selection of gently used clothes coordinated by our very own Kylie Roos— today was all about our Pilot Point students and families.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated their time, money, items, or resources to make this happen.

🎉 TOMORROW’S THE DAY, BEARCATS! 🎉 Our Back to School Bash is happening at the Middle School from 9:00-11:00 AM, and it’s going to be SO good. 🎒✂️🚲

Free school supplies and backpacks, fresh haircuts (first come, first served — so don’t sleep in! 😴), a bike raffle, awesome community vendors, AND a killer selection of gently used clothes coordinated by our very own girls’ softball coach, Kylie Roos! 👏

Come hang out with your Bearcat family for a morning full of freebies and fun. See y’all there! 🐾

Convocation is officially in the books, and WOW did our teachers bring the energy! 🎉 There's nothing like getting the whole PPISD family back under one roof.

Huge shoutout to our Education Foundation for fueling us up with an amazing breakfast and coffee bar (we run on caffeine and school spirit, let's be honest ☕), and a big thank you to Midway Church for hosting us in their facility!

The Mighty Bearcat Band and our High School Cheerleaders brought the Bearcat Spirit and set the tone for the morning! We laughed, we cheered, and we got a little emotional listening to senior Jissel Esparza's incredible speech, plus inspiring words from our Elementary Teacher of the Year Shanna Askew and Secondary Teacher of the Year Jennifer Tullis. Two amazing educators, two amazing messages.

And then... the masked principal dance-off happened. SO much fun!

Convocation is hands-down one of our favorite days every year, and this one set the bar HIGH for 2026-2027. Welcome back, Bearcats! Let's make it a great one! 🐾✨

Get ready for 2026 Bearcat Football! Season tickets are $40.00 each (cash or check).

📍 Ticket Sales Location: PPISD Admin. Office, 829 S. Harrison St.
🕐 Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Returning season ticket holders have priority purchase through Friday, August 7th. All remaining season ticket sales begin Monday, August 10th.

General admission tickets for all home games can also be purchased at the stadium ticket booths on game days.

This week we kicked off New to Pilot Point with two days full of energy, excitement, and Bearcat spirit! We are so proud to welcome this incredible new group of educators to PPISD, and we can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make on our students and campuses this year.

A huge thank you to CoServ, DATCU, and Point Bank for helping make these last two days so special for our new teachers. Your support means the world to our district and our newest Bearcats felt it!
