EPICS in IEEE
EPICS in IEEE is impacting your local community, one project at a time.
Students at BMS Institute of Technology and Management are using engineering to strengthen community resilience through SkyPulse, an IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society and EPICS in IEEE project that combines IoT sensors and satellite data to deliver real-time weather and environmental insights. Designed to support disaster preparedness, public health, and sustainability efforts, the system helps communities make informed decisions with localized data.
To learn more about AP-S and EPICS in IEEE-supported projects like this one, stop by our table at the 2026 IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Interdisciplinary Applications in Montclair, New Jersey from 9-10 October! https://epics.ieee.org/blogs/epics-in-ieee-the-skys-the-limit-for-skypulse-technology/
