Cortado is the perfect blend of sweetness and calm! Just like the coffee drink she is named after, she is smooth, balanced, and comforting, with just enough energy to keep things fun. Her gorgeous black and white markings even look like someone added the perfect splash of cream!

Cortado is incredibly sweet and outgoing. She loves people and has settled into her foster home as a calm, friendly girl who is always happy to have company. She is a little more laid back than Espresso, with fewer caffeine jitters and much more cozy coffee shop energy. She is also very food motivated, so the quickest way to her heart is to tip your barista in treats!

Cortado would do great with kids and would likely enjoy having feline friends after proper introductions. She has not met a dog yet, but she is so relaxed and easygoing that we think she could adjust well to a friendly pup with a slow introduction.

Espresso is the perfect double shot of sweetness and silliness! She came to us from an overcrowded shelter in North Carolina and is more than ready to trade shelter life for a cozy forever home.

This little lady absolutely loves people and will happily chirp at you whenever she needs another serving of attention. Her tiny tail is almost always standing straight up with her fur standing on end, like she has had one espresso too many! She is affectionate, goofy, and guaranteed to give her family a daily boost of happiness.

Espresso would likely do great with children. She can be a little hissy with other cats, so she would probably prefer to be your one and only. She may also do well with older resident cats who will respect her space after slow, proper introductions. She has not met a dog yet, so we are not sure how she would feel about canine roommates.

Are you looking to enlist a few good kittens? Delta and Echo are ready to report for duty! These pretty girls came to TCR when their veteran father could no longer keep them and they are looking for their next long-term assignment where they hope to finish out their career.

D&E start their mornings with your typical exercises (running, jumping, climbing) and practicing their combat moves (wrestling, chasing and running from each other, kicking catnip kickers and practicing their aim with springs and crinkle balls). They will be ready if they are ever called to serve. When they are not training, they are very sweet and cuddly with each other in their hammock, cat tree/shelves, boxes or on the couch with their foster mom. Overall the girls are very quiet but Echo has recently found her voice and will use it when she wants her mom’s attention.

The girls were a little reserved when they first came to TCR. It’s understandable with what they have been through in their short lives. However, they really have gained confidence and come out of their shells. They look for each other and depend on one another for comfort which is why they would do best being adopted together! They have been great with their other foster cat and dog friends. We also feel like they would do well will respectful, cat savvy kiddos as well.

Meet Evie, a sweet and gentle girl looking for a peaceful forever home where she can truly shine. Evie takes a little time to warm up to new people and unfamiliar places, but her affection is absolutely worth the wait. Once she feels safe and secure, she transforms into an incredibly friendly companion who loves being near her people. If you sit down, she will gladly keep you company, chatting with her sweet chirps and rewarding you with an extra-loud purr whenever she gets her favorite chin scratches.

Evie still has a wonderful playful side, though she also loves the simple pleasure of sitting by a sunny window to watch the world go by. She is highly food-motivated, which makes making friends and teaching her new routines a breeze!

Because sudden loud noises can startle her, Evie is looking for a quiet, calm, and predictable household. She would do wonderfully with older, mellow children who understand how to give her a little space while she adjusts. Evie would be perfectly content as the center of your world as an only cat, but she could also live with another friendly feline companion if given a slow, proper introduction.

Meet Sabrina Carpenter! Sabrina came to TCR from the streets of Lawrenceville with her fellow pop star siblings. Sabrina is the only girl among three brothers (cue “Manchild”) and is often disapproving of their antics and mischief. She is the calmest and wisest of her siblings, but she also loves to play, just in a more distinguished way than her brothers. Sabrina loves plush toys, wet food, and of course, Churu! She also needs her beauty sleep and loves a good nap.

Sabrina was very fearful of humans when she was first brought indoors, but she has come a long way! She is still a bit skittish around new people and loud noises, but she has learned to love pets from her foster parents. Sabrina will do best in a patient home that is willing to help her continue building confidence. A confident cat would be a wonderful companion for her, and she would also love being adopted with one of her siblings. She could do well with older children who can respect her boundaries.

Meet Bad Bunny! Bad Bunny came to TCR from the streets of Lawrenceville with his fellow pop star siblings. He is extremely playful (especially with his brother, Eddie) and very food-motivated. Bad Bunny’s hobbies include knocking his water bowl over, stealing his sister’s food, and eating Churu.

Bad Bunny is the smallest of his siblings, but what he lacks in size he makes up for in sass! Because of his time outside, he came to Trash Cat with some wounds. He healed quickly once brought indoors, but he is still a bit protective of himself (and his sister, Sabrina Carpenter!) and is still learning to trust people. His spicy side is easily softened with a tube (or 2) of Churu.

Bad Bunny will need a patient home that can continue helping him learn that humans are not scary. He LOVES all of his siblings and would love to go home with any of them! If he isn’t adopted with a sibling, he will need a home with a young, playful cat who can keep up with his energy. He could do well with older children who can respect his boundaries.

Meet Eddie! Named for being the orangest of his brown tabby siblings, Ed is also the largest and bravest of the litter! Ed and his 3 siblings were found in the streets of Lawrenceville and brought to TCR to find their forever indoor homes.

Ed was the first of his siblings to warm up to humans, and he hasn’t looked back! He loves pets, playtime, and food (especially wet food & churu). He hasn’t met a toy he doesn’t like. His all-time favorite is the ball-track toy you can see him proudly perched on top of in the photos. He is a social butterfly among his siblings and loves to spend time wrestling with them, specifically Bruno Mars!

Because of Ed’s age and playful nature, he will need to be adopted with one of his siblings (ideally Bruno Mars!) or go to a home with a young playful cat. He hasn’t met a dog, but would likely do well with proper introductions, considering he has some dog-like personality traits himself.

Meet Bruno Mars! Bruno had a fateful journey to get to TCR. He was separated from his siblings and mom on the streets of Lawrenceville until a good samaritan grabbed him from an abandoned garage after hearing him cry out for two days straight. Once finally reunited with his siblings, he could not have been happier!

Bruno is a small ball of pure kitten energy and love. He would play and eat food 24/7 if he didn’t have to sleep. He LOVES churu, so much so that he bites the tube in multiple spots and makes a huge mess, but his cuteness makes up for the inconvenience. Bruno often instigates wrestling sessions with his fellow pop star siblings, specifically Eddie. He also loves humans and will often curl up in his foster mom’s lap for pets and snuggles after he’s played to his heart’s content.

Because of Bruno’s age and playful nature, he will need to be adopted with one of his siblings (ideally Eddie!) or go to a home with a young playful cat. He hasn’t met a dog, but would likely do well with proper introductions, assuming the dog is down to wrestle.

This is Milo! He was found alone, a little sick, and scared in the McKeesport area. Milo has been with his foster for about a month now learning how to be a confident kitten again. He’s made amazing progress and he is a good example that with patience and grace given to him, he can show that he is a perfect little sweetheart.

Milo is a very nice kitten. He wants to be social and get pets but he will likely need to gain confidence to do that with new people. With his foster family he is a flirtatious boy! He likes to coo, chirp, and roll around on the floor to show his belly. Milo especially loves treats and wet food, and is very flirty when he knows extra goodies are coming out for him. When he’s comfortable he is a big fan of attention, and enjoys being petted. He’s easy to handle and gets along with everyone he meets.

Milo is surprisingly great with kids. Once he was brave enough he happily engages with the foster family’s toddler and plays with wand toys with her. He loves other cats, and integrated seamlessly with another litter of foster kittens. Since he’s still young and he learned how to be a cat from his foster friends, we think it would be in his best interest to go home with one of his foster buddies or to a home with a resident cat that is confident enough to gently show our little guy the ropes. Milo was timid but did accept attention from the overly friendly foster family’s dog. He may be able to integrate into a home with gentle, cat-friendly dog(s).
