Dapper No-Code

I've been brought in to rebuild more "done" apps than I can count. They look great in the demo. Then a real customer signs up, hits an edge case, and the whole thing falls apart. Real app builds aren't about how it looks on day one. They're about how it holds up on day 300.

This is the thing I say on every first call. Not because I'm trying to talk myself out of business, because the ones who actually need an app know it immediately. They come in with a real problem, a real user base, and a use case that breaks without software. Everyone else? They need a spreadsheet and a process first.

The job isn't to sell you a build. The job is to figure out if you actually need one. Sometimes the answer is no — or not yet. I'd rather you skip the project and come back when you're ready than take your money and build something that doesn't move the needle.

You're not protecting yourself by waiting. Every month you don't have the system built, you're leaving money on the table, doing manual work that software would handle, and falling further behind the people who just moved. What are you actually waiting for?
