In 2022, CISI and its volunteers planted 107 trees in the Pittsburgh area. And CISI plans to plant another 300-500 in 2023! Let's go!

Earlier this summer, we distributed 25 fruit and flower trees to Google employees and local residents of Pittsburgh. With their help, we officially launched the ongoing project "Tree-IS-Planted". Tomorrow we expect to give away another 80 trees and have reached our goal of planting 100 trees this year!

Tree IS Planted's first batch of trees will be delivered to the locations designated by volunteers tomorrow 6/12/2022.
In response to an initiative launched by the World Economic Forum to protect, restore and plant 1 trillion trees, Carnegie International Students Institute will plant a tree of blessing for every international student it serves. Talent is like a tree, as long as a piece of land is provided for it, it will give back to this world with deep roots and luxuriant leaves. The tree planted for international students will eventually rise to the sky, implying that international students will eventually realize their dream of taking root in a foreign country.
